Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are your candles made from?
All our candles are made from 100% natural soy wax — clean-burning, kinder to the environment, and free from the nasties found in paraffin wax.
2. Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, our soy wax candles are vegan and not tested on animals.
3. How long will my candle burn for?
Burn time varies by size, but most of our candles offer between 10-50 hours of burn time. Always check the product page for specifics.
4. How do I get the best burn from my candle?
Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn and let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt fully across the top on first use — this helps prevent tunnelling.
5. Why has my candle tunnelled?
This usually happens if the candle wasn't burned long enough on its first use. Letting the wax pool edge-to-edge the first time helps avoid this.
6. Are your candles safe to use around pets and children?
Our candles are made for home use with standard safety precautions — always burn on a heat-resistant surface, out of reach of children and pets, and never leave unattended.
7. Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the UK.
8. How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days and typically arrive within 2-3 business days via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service or. Express if you have requested this service.
9. What's your returns policy?
You can return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns on used or burned candles.
10. Can I return a candle if I don't like the scent?
Unfortunately, once a candle has been burned, we're unable to accept it back for hygiene and safety reasons — so if you're unsure, our sample sizes are a great way to try before you commit.
11. Can I send a gift directly out to a friend or family member?
Yes of course, we never include the financial information in an order. You can also add a special note if you want, just add this in the notes section and we will take care of the rest.
